On-Site Destruction
Drives remain at your location until they are rendered unusable. Ideal for organizations with strict internal policies or witnessed-destruction requirements.
On-site and off-site destruction for hard drives, SSDs, backup tapes and other data-bearing media—with documented chain of custody, serial-number reporting, certificates and equipment recycling options.
This service is for businesses that require controlled handling, accountability, witnessed destruction, serialized reporting or service at their own location.
Drives remain at your location until they are rendered unusable. Ideal for organizations with strict internal policies or witnessed-destruction requirements.
For added transport security, drives can be placed in locked Pelican cases with numbered tamper-evident seals applied by the client. The seal is documented and verified upon receipt to help confirm the case was not opened in transit.
Media is collected under documented chain of custody and processed at our secure facility through shredding, degaussing or approved destruction methods.
For assets with resale or redeployment value, we offer NIST SP 800-88-aligned erasure with reporting so usable equipment can be securely reused.
Physical destruction options for 2.5-inch and 3.5-inch drives, including on-site crushing and industrial shredding.
Destruction options for solid-state drives, flash memory and other compact storage media requiring smaller particle size.
Secure handling and destruction of backup tapes, magnetic media and legacy storage through shredding or degaussing.
The documentation level is matched to your project. A basic certificate does not automatically include a full serialized audit; detailed reporting is available when specified in the project scope.
Count- or weight-based confirmation that media was processed according to the agreed scope.
Per-device reporting for organizations requiring a detailed asset trail, individual serial capture, audit status or location-based reporting.
Expanded reporting may include make, model, serial number, asset tag, storage details, disposition status and other agreed fields.
