We believe recycled electronics still have value, and that value should not always end at scrap commodity pricing. We work to monetize responsibly processed equipment and direct value either back to the client through asset recovery or into the community through cash and hardware donations, so end-of-life technology creates positive outcomes instead of landfill waste.
This is the core idea behind our Positive Impact, Donations, and ROG program. ROG stands for Return on Good. It is the framework we use to evaluate every device for the outcome that creates the most total value: financial return, social impact, and environmental responsibility, in that order of opportunity.
EIH provides three integrated service lines built around the realities of retiring business technology. Most clients use more than one because real IT refresh programs touch all three at the same time.
Our electronics e-waste recycling program covers laptops, desktops, servers, monitors, networking gear, and the full range of office electronics. We follow a reuse-first decisioning process, route material through R2-certified downstream partners, maintain a zero-landfill policy, and provide a certificate of recycling and data security for processed hardware.
Our data destruction services include data erasure aligned to NIST 800-88, on-site hard drive shredding, on-site hard drive crushing, on-site hard drive erasure, and tape shredding and degaussing for backup media. Every method ends with a serialized certificate.
Retired hardware that still has market value moves through our computer liquidation and asset recovery channels. For larger projects, our data center decommissioning team handles serialized inventory, secure transport, and full chain of custody through final disposition.

1) Real chain of custody, not a vague promise.
Every pickup runs through a documented intake process. Equipment is scanned, inventoried, and tracked through final disposition. You get reporting that aligns with internal controls and auditor expectations.
2) Data-bearing media handled correctly.
Hard drives, SSDs, and backup tapes are addressed at intake based on your data destruction policy. On-site options exist when chain-of-custody requirements demand it. Documentation is serialized.
3) Reuse-first, recycle-last decisioning. Equipment with secondary market value is tested and remarketed. Donation-eligible equipment is routed through verified nonprofit recipients. Only assets without functional or material value enter the recycling stream. This protects the residual value of your IT investment.
4) Verified downstream recycling. We are not R2 certified. We do route material to R2-certified downstream processors and maintain a zero-landfill policy. We document the chain so you can verify what happened to non-resalable hardware.
5) Multi-location and nationwide capability.
Single-site cleanouts, multi-office refresh cycles, and data center decommissioning all run on the same coordinated process. We have nationwide pickup for qualifying business volumes.
